Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer in Canada to drive complex customer solutions and close large deals. You will work with sales teams and partners as the technical expert, bridging business and technical contexts for executives and engineers alike.

Responsibilities include presenting Snowflake technology, demonstrating value during the sales cycle, and supporting enterprise proofs of concepts. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of industry experience with 5+ years in pre-sales.
• Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• Broad experience with Database, Data Warehouse, and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
• Strong ability to connect business problems with technical solutions.
• Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

Compensation & Benefits

• On Target Earnings (OTE) Range including base + commission bonus: $216,000 - $283,500 CA
• Snowflake offers competitive base salary, variable compensation, equity, and comprehensive benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision, flexible PTO, and professional development budget.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

• This role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's commission plan and it is common for employees in this role to receive total on‑target earnings of $216,000 - $283,500. The estimated base salary for this role is $162,000 - $212,625.
• Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non‑discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
