Torus Talent is partnering with a large engineering consultancy to deliver an enterprise‑wide Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP transformation. We seek a Senior Tester to plan, coordinate, and execute testing across D365 F&O, CE, Project Operations, data migration, and integrations.

This is a hands‑on, 12‑month contract with hybrid work: four days remote and one day weekly in Vancouver. Candidates must reside in Vancouver or the Greater Vancouver area.

Torus Talent is working with a large engineering consultancy client undertaking a major enterprise-wide Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP transformation.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tester to support the planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities across this complex implementation. The program includes Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), Customer Engagement (CE), Project Operations, data migration, and integrations with other enterprise applications.

This is a hands‑on testing and delivery role suited to an experienced professional who can manage testing activities, coordinate with business and technical teams, track defects, and help ensure successful testing outcomes.

The position is a 12-month contract offering a hybrid working arrangement, with four days working remotely and one day per week in the Vancouver office.

Candidates must currently reside in Vancouver or the Greater Vancouver area to be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and data migration testing.
• Develop and maintain detailed test plans, schedules, test cases, and execution activities across multiple ERP workstreams.
• Manage test cases, test suites, execution tracking, and defect workflows using Azure DevOps / Azure Test Plans.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, functional SMEs, developers, and implementation partners to coordinate testing activities.
• Ensure test environments, data, access, and resources are ready ahead of scheduled testing cycles.
• Facilitate defect triage, monitor issue resolution, coordinate retesting, and elevate critical blockers.
• Maintain traceability between business requirements, test scenarios, execution results, and identified defects.
• Track testing progress, maintain dashboards, and provide regular status reports highlighting risks, issues, and outstanding activities.
• Support testing activities associated with system deployment, cutover, and post‑implementation validation.
• Collaborate with the QA Lead to ensure testing activities follow established quality standards and project requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in software testing, ERP testing, or quality assurance, including hands‑on testing and coordination of test activities.
• Experience supporting at least one large‑scale ERP implementation or similarly complex enterprise systems transformation.
• Strong experience with functional testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.
• Practical experience using Azure DevOps / Azure Test Plans or comparable enterprise test management tools.
• Strong understanding of test case development, execution tracking, defect workflows, and requirements traceability.
• Experience working collaboratively with business users, technical teams, and external system implementation partners.
• Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, and milestone‑driven software delivery methodologies.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Post‑secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), Customer Engagement (CE), or Project Operations.
• Experience supporting data migration, integration testing, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Previous ERP implementation experience within engineering, professional services, or project‑based organizations.
• Experience working on complex enterprise transformation programs involving multiple business and technical stakeholders.
