A leader in automotive innovation is looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to join their team in Markham. This hybrid position involves defining test strategies and leading QA planning for advanced driver-assistance systems and autonomous vehicle technology. Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science or a related field and extensive experience in embedded software development, particularly with C and C++. A strong background in testing methodologies and automation frameworks is essential, along with excellent communication skills.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Markham Elevation Centre (MEC) three times per week at minimum, or other frequency dictated by the business.

As part of Senior Software Test Engineering for Autonomous Vehicle Integrity Platform (AVIP) Diagnostics QA team, you will be part of fast‑paced, agile teams building software and innovative solutions in the ADAS and Autonomous domain. Senior Software Test Engineering ensures applications meet GM software and feature standards for functional, system, quality, performance and architecture requirements. Ability to drive advanced levels of test planning, execution and quality reporting of software applications through engagement with software developers, system stakeholders, and sustaining/integration groups. This includes the creation and implementation of both automated and manual test cases and test execution plans.
