A leading automotive company in Markham is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer for their Autonomous Vehicle Integrity Platform. The successful candidate will develop and execute test strategies and plans, manage QA activities effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Candidates must have 5+ years in embedded software development, deep knowledge of ADAS software, and experience with automation frameworks. This hybrid role requires strong problem-solving and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement in software quality.
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Markham Elevation Centre (MEC) three times per week at minimum, or other frequency dictated by the business.

As part of Senior Software Test Engineering for Autonomous Vehicle Integrity Platform (AVIP) Diagnostics QA team, you will be part of fast-paced, agile teams building software and innovative solutions in the ADAS and Autonomous domain. Senior Software Test Engineering ensures applications meet GM software and feature standards for functional, system, quality, performance and architecture requirements. Ability to drive advanced levels of test planning, execution and quality reporting of software applications through engagement with software developers, system stakeholders, and sustaining/integration groups. This includes the creation and implementation of both automated and manual test cases and test execution plans.
