Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Montreal is seeking a Senior Software Safety Engineer to support clients in implementing software safety processes compliant with international standards. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience and strong analytical skills, with knowledge of risk assessment methodologies. Fluency in French and English is required. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software/system safety or RAMS, ideally in relevant sectors.
• Experience in implementing complex processes and ensuring compliance with international standards.
• Mastery of concepts such as SWAL, SIL, SEEA, LOR, FMECA, FTA.

Responsibilities

• Support the client in Software Safety processes implementation.
• Define and assess Levels of Rigor (LOR) and Software Integrity Levels (SIL).
• Conduct hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential safety issues.
