This role is to join the Autodesk Alias team, which is building industry-leading software for automotive and industrial design. Alias is a software package that incorporates sketching, concept modeling, surfacing, visualization, and computational design. Our goal is to be the leading software for the entire design process, from concept creation to production surfacing.
In this role, you will be working with a team of math specialists writing the core functionality that powers Alias surfacing. We are actively working on challenging geometric modeling projects involving spline surfacing, subdivisional surfaces, meshes, and intersecting technologies. You will gain the satisfaction of working on cutting-edge technology that can have an enormous impact on how designers build the shapes of cars, phones, bicycles, and more. Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $98,600 and $144,650. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
