Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Product Security) based in Canada to design, build, and maintain production features while embedding security into the product lifecycle.

You will work deeply in code and architecture to influence secure engineering practices, spanning vulnerability response and threat modeling across a distributed team. Applicants should have Go expertise, strong Kubernetes knowledge, and experience in security reviews and vulnerabilities coordination.

Qualifications

• Production software experience with Go as a primary language.
• Security-focused design reviews and threat modeling for production systems.
• Ability to investigate and fix vulnerabilities and communicate risks clearly.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes internals and controllers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production features while embedding security into the lifecycle.
• Own vulnerability response from triage through remediation and disclosure when required.
• Conduct threat modeling for new features and security-sensitive designs.
• Participate in code and architecture reviews with a product-security perspective.
• Review evolving platform architecture to strengthen security posture.
