Job summary

Eyeline is a global creative studio seeking a senior Houdini pipeline developer to join our Vancouver team. You will write high-quality Python code, solve pipeline challenges, and collaborate with artists to improve efficiency.

Required: 8+ years of Houdini pipeline experience, strong communication, and a passion for artist-friendly workflows. OpenUSD/Solaris a plus; PDG/TOPs a plus. Salary range CAD 150,000–210,000 per year, depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Passion for staying on top of latest features in Houdini.
• 8+ years experience writing Houdini pipeline code using python.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated talent for designing intuitive, artist-friendly workflows without sacrificing functionality.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming patterns.
• Comfortable with git and unit testing.
• Desire to probe and understand the inner workings of complex systems.
• Background as an FX artist using Houdini in production preferred.
• Hands-on experience with OpenUSD / Solaris a plus
• Experience with PDG / TOPs preferred

$150,000 - $210,000 a year

This salary range is specific to applicants applying to our position in Vancouver, BC. To determine your base salary, we consider your qualifications, skills, and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary outside of this range and will also be dependent on your location.
