Job summary

Zip is the AI platform for enterprise procurement—built for humans and agents working together. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Developer Platform team, you will design and build scalable architecture, tooling and processes that enable Zip’s engineers to ship enterprise-cost software with high velocity.

You will guide architecture and drive adoption of AI-assisted codemods and modern CI practices, delivering features used by hundreds of engineers across Zip.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• BS or higher in CS or related technical field.
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab, Buildkite, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to diagnose obstacles, debug friction, and drive velocity.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable architecture, tooling and processes for Zip’s Developer Platform.
• Provide design and architectural guidance to accelerate software development.
• Ship features that are used by hundreds of engineers and drive high velocity.
• Lead initiatives to ensure new features are performant and reliable.
• Drive adoption of AI-driven tools across the development workflow.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing patterns, and deployment processes.
