Tilt is a remote-first company building scalable backend systems powering consumer-facing products. We’re seeking Senior Backend Engineers who care about reliability, scalability, and collaboration.

You’ll join one of several product or infrastructure teams, tackling challenges from decisioning to payments and APIs. You’ll work on high-impact projects in a collaborative environment, participate in code reviews, mentor peers, and help raise the bar on security and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Experience with .NET (C#) or similar frameworks.
• Experience scaling consumer-facing products with high transaction volumes.
• Collaborative problem-solver with inclusive mindset and willingness to learn.
• Ability to leverage AI-powered development tools to boost productivity and code quality.

We're looking for Senior Backend Engineers who care about building scalable, reliable systems - and who thrive in a collaborative environment. You'll join one of several product or infrastructure teams, each tackling challenges from decisioning to payments to APIs. Wherever you land, you'll work on projects that are high-impact, technically challenging, and deeply rewarding.

Tilt is a remote-first company. We drive connectivity through regular company offsites. Travel for company offsites is expected at a minimum 2 times a year.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Design and scale backend systems that power our consumer facing products

• Build and refine APIs that deliver instant, seamless experiences.

• Collaborate with product, credit/finance, compliance, support, and analytics teams.
