Qualifications

• Minimum: BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on technical leadership and/or people management of a team of at least 15 software developers.
• Proven experience managing software engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
• Strong expertise in software development methodologies and best practices.

• 3+ years of hands‑on technical leadership and/or people management experience of a team of at least 15 software developers.
• Proven experience managing software engineering teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
• Strong expertise in software development methodologies and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Education or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, with emphasis on HL7 FHIR.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing development teams.

• This role is eligible for Verily-sponsored immigration support.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is CAD $175,000 - $197,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
