Autodesk is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Platform Data team in Canada. You will build services powering the data infrastructure for Autodesk's enterprise products, shaping how AEC professionals capture knowledge and drive decisions.
Responsibilities include end-to-end software development, cloud-first design, scaling infrastructure, testing, and collaboration with product managers and architects.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Software Development experience building enterprise level cloud services.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture and microservices.
- Experience with AWS services and technologies (EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS).
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C#) and frameworks (Spring Boot, Node.js, .NET).
- Understanding of security principles, authentication, and authorization mechanisms in AWS including SOC-2.
- Experience implementing automated testing processes to ensure code quality.
- Experience in monitoring backend performance and optimizing system scalability.

- Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, c#) and frameworks (e.g., Sprint boot, Node.js, .Net)
- Understanding of security principles, authentication, and authorization mechanisms in AWS including SOC-2
- Experience implementing and maintaining automated testing processes to ensure code quality
- Experience in monitoring backend performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement optimizations to enhance system scalability, response times, and resource utilization
- Experience of working in Agile process is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $107,000 and $157,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
