About the Role:


The Senior Software Developer will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and business. This position requires leading complex projects from conception through deployment, ensuring robust architecture and scalable code. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, quality assurance, and operations to deliver innovative features and enhancements. They will also mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. Ultimately, this role is critical in driving the technical vision and delivering software that supports the company’s strategic objectives in the Canadian market and beyond.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software development.

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

  • Experience with AI tools such as Claude and version control systems such as Git.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience working in a distributed team environment.

  • Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio of software projects.
