Amazon Security in Vancouver is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to secure foundational AWS Identity and crypto systems. You will design security controls, guide architectural decisions, and collaborate with rapid engineering teams to secure AI-first development at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating tasks with command line tools.
• 5+ years identifying security issues and risks and developing mitigation plans.
• 5+ years scripting, programming, and security code review in common languages.
• Experience mentoring, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Experience applying threat modeling or risk identification techniques.

You will design security controls and provide architectural guidance for systems that operate at massive scale and underpin the core cloud platform millions of customers depend on.
