OSI Maritime Systems in Burnaby, Canada, seeks an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks for API, UI, system, and performance testing. You will enforce SOLID, TDD/BDD, and CI/CD practices to deliver reliable test solutions for distributed and embedded systems.

You will lead code reviews, mentor junior SDETs, and collaborate with software, DevOps, and QA teams to improve testability and promote shift-left

Competenze

8+ years in software testing and test automation, incl. 5+ years Python.
Experience with distributed, networked, real-time or embedded systems.
Familiar with SOLID, design patterns, and CI/CD.
Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Mansioni

Design, develop, and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks for API, UI, system, and performance testing.
Enforce best practices: SOLID, TDD/BDD, clean code.
Develop automated test strategies for distributed and embedded systems.
