Job summary

RRC Power and Energy is seeking a SCADA Engineer III to support PV and BESS projects across North America, including remote work and collaboration with multiple offices. This full-time role offers growth in renewables and robust SCADA expertise.

Responsibilities include SCADA strategy design, site commissioning coordination, QA/QC of drawings, FAT/SAT support, and safety/compliance adherence. A 3–5+ year background in SCADA and renewables is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in SCADA, controls, automation, or renewable energy projects.
• Experience with power systems and/or control systems.
• Experience developing or modifying SCADA configurations, PLC logic, or HMI applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in PV and BESS SCADA project tasks under supervision of Project Managers and senior staff.
• Create and maintain SCADA drawings, engineering documentation, and deliverable packages.
• Support in collecting, organizing, and documenting information for PLC and HMI configuration, testing, and documentation.
• Ability to design and implement SCADA control strategies.
• Coordinate site commissioning activities with SCADA Engineers, project teams, and contractors.
