Job summary

Periscope Search Group is seeking an SAP Enterprise Architect to lead end-to-end SAP architecture for a global electronics manufacturer. You will own the roadmap, frameworks, and governance for ECC/S/4HANA, PLM, MES and data warehouse, aligning SAP to business strategy.

You will drive integration design across IDocs, APIs, middleware and cloud services, manage licensing and vendor relationships, and present business cases to Steering Committees. Toronto on-site, full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SAP Center of Excellence and end-to-end SAP architecture.
• Experience with ECC, S/4HANA, PLM, MES and data warehouse integration.
• Ability to define architecture frameworks, standards, governance and migration roadmaps.
• Proven ability to translate architecture into business value and present to executives.

Location: Toronto, Ontario Full-time, 4 to 5 days on-site

Our client is a global electronics manufacturer running SAP across multiple regions, and they are consolidating that estate under a single architecture as they move to S/4HANA. This role is the technical center of that program, and the person who takes it is being hired to become the leader of the SAP Center of Excellence they build along the way.

You’ll own SAP enterprise architecture end to end, across ECC and S/4HANA and everything wired into them: PLM, MES, and the data warehouse. You’ll set the architecture strategy and roadmap, define the frameworks, standards and governance the estate runs on, and carry the S/4HANA migration from scoping through cutover and global rollout.

Day to day that means designing integration architecture across IDocs, APIs, middleware, SAP PI/PO and CPI, running architecture reviews and gap analysis, owning SAP vendor relationships including licensing, contract negotiation and AMS partners, and deciding where BTP, Fiori and cloud-native services earn their place. You’ll take business cases to Project Steering Committee and Investment Review, which means translating architecture into money in front of executives with competing priorities.

This suits an architect who can talk Order to Cash, Demand to Deliver, Source to Pay and Record to Report with the business leaders who own those processes, then turn around and lead the solution architects building it. Deep across MM, PP, SD, QM, FICO and WM, with the S/4HANA scars to prove it.
