About the Role

You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, building and managing a strong pipeline, closing deals, and driving net‑new revenue growth. This role is designed for a results‑oriented sales professional who thrives on competition, high‑volume prospecting, and converting opportunities into long‑term relationships.

Success in this role means acquiring new enterprise logos with active projects, driving repeat business and engagement —while maintaining strong pipeline coverage, meeting or exceeding quota, and expanding Tekena’s market presence.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect and generate leads, move through the funnel to a completed sale
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline
  • Deliver sales meeting with presentations and demos.
  • Negotiate and close deals, handling objections and securing signed contracts
  • Achieve targets and meet reporting requirements
  • Build relationships with electrical engineers, designers, and specifiers to remain top of mind during project development.
Qualifications
  • 5 years plus of proven success in B2B solution sales [ideally technology, construction, or digital services]
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas
  • Proven success in cold calling and building pipelines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to explain technical solutions in clear business‑focused terms.
  • Ability to influence at executive levels, negotiate, and close.
  • Highly organized with excellent pipeline management discipline.
  • Experience using CRM systems [HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar].
  • Driven, competitive, self‑motivated, and results‑oriented
