Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive safety/environmental experience in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to develop and sustain safety/environmental management systems.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Process Safety Management.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration safety and environmental considerations.
• Knowledge of Canadian regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level safety, environmental, and security programs in compliance with standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and MHA like FMEA and health/safety risk evaluations.
• Drive regulatory and internal compliance across occupational health, environmental protection, and security.
• Manage training programs for new hires, annual refreshers, contractors, and leaders.
• Oversee audits with timely corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share best practices in safety and environmental protection.
• Translate safety and sustainability metrics into clear performance indicators and accountability.
• Engage leadership to review safety and sustainability performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Represent Coca-Cola with authorities on compliance matters and maintain stakeholder relationships.
