Job summary

TD's Wealth Credit and Market Risk Management (WCMRM) team seeks a Senior Risk Analyst to design, develop, and maintain solutions for Wealth CMR using a variety of technologies. You will deliver high-quality risk tools within a collaborative, multi-project environment across the department.

The role requires 3+ years in software development with strong C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET MVC, and front-end skills, plus excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Back-end development using C# and Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, querying and performance troubleshooting.
• Front-end web development using ASP.NET MVC, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and CSS.
• Experience with source control and collaborative development practices; Git is preferred.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, documenting and supporting business applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter with initiative and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Knowledge of trading, capital markets or financial risk management is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications using the .NET framework (ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL).
• Assist the management team migrate internally developed applications from Microsoft Access to SQL Server.
• Document and maintain design diagrams and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and provide production support for functional and performance issues.
• Perform additional tasks as necessary.
