Qualifications

• Master's/PhD in EE or physics with ~5+ years RF/EM design.
• Strong fundamentals in electromagnetics and impedance matching.
• Hands-on full-wave EM simulation experience with HFSS/CST/COMSOL.
• Experience designing RF on silicon, interposers, or thin-film substrates.
• Hands-on RF measurement and characterization (VNA, spectrum analyzer).
• Proven ability to correlate simulation with measurement and iterate designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize on-chip and chip-scale RF structures.
• Perform full-wave EM modeling (HFSS/CST/COMSOL).
• Improve RF power efficiency while considering fabrication constraints.
• Evaluate heat-load tradeoffs at chip, package, and cryogenic levels.
• Own simulation-to-measurement correlation including cryogenic tests.
• Support impedance control, matching and RF loss analysis.
• Lead design reviews and produce clear technical documentation.
