Job summary

Autodesk is undergoing a back-office transformation and seeks a Senior Revenue Analyst to guide the Revenue Accounting project. You will partner with Revenue Accounting, Controllership, System Integrators, Project Managers, and Developers to drive UAT and rollout of new systems and processes across the organization.

You will advise on U.S. GAAP revenue recognition, help ensure SOX controls, and support training as the business shifts to new models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP with focus on revenue recognition.
• CPA certification or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
• Experience with SAP and/or Business Objects (preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel (preferred).
• Experience in software or SaaS industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings to discuss and document project requirements pertaining to U.S. GAAP and Revenue Recognition.
• Collaborate with manager to assess operational capabilities and feasibility.
• Perform UAT and track issues discovered during UAT.
• Implement and document processes including SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Evaluate accounting implications and support operational changes under ASC 606.
• Provide accounting guidance to project team and developers.
• Support training efforts and transition to new business models and system flows.
• Work hours aligned to PST time zone.
