Job summary

Best Buy Canada is hiring for a senior retail associate, referred to as a senior solutions advisor, at our Fort McMurray store. You will be the face of Best Buy for customers visiting our location, helping them find the right products or services and processing transactions.

We’re seeking 1–2 years of retail experience with a passion for technology, outstanding customer service, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

You’ll love it here! We are hiring immediately for a senior retail associate, which we call a senior solutions advisor at Best Buy. As a senior retail associate, you will be the face of Best Buy for everyone who visits our stores.

What You’ll Do

• Help customers find the perfect product or service
• Process customers’ purchases at the checkout
• Process returns, trade-ins and more at the customer service counter
• Ensure store is clean and bright and all products have appropriate tags
• Create an amazing customer experience while answering questions and sharing your enthusiasm for the latest and greatest tech
• Assist with training and mentoring team members

What We’re Looking For

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in retail
• Enthusiasm to welcome and assist customers
• Flexibility to adapt to dynamic situations in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to maintaining an inclusive, safe and fun working environment
• Must be at least the age of majority (18 or 19 years old depending on your province) to be able to process mobile activations
