Job summary

BMO is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager, Agriculture, to develop and manage a Canadian client portfolio across the agricultural sector. You will serve as the primary strategic partner, tailoring financial solutions and guiding complex credit transactions to help agribusinesses grow.

You will work with dairy, poultry, cattle, and crop producers, leveraging market insights to expand wallet share, manage risk, and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in relationship management, account management, or portfolio management within commercial banking or a similar environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Agronomy, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, commercial lending, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to build lasting business relationships and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity, and a strong client focus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the agriculture and agri-food sector.

Your Impact

As a Senior Relationship Manager, Agriculture, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and deepening a portfolio of clients while serving as their primary strategic point of contact.

Salary

$70,000.00 - $150,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards. BMO also offers health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
