Qualifications

• Prior experience working with seniors, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Graduate of a post-secondary diploma or degree program in recreation and leisure studies or therapeutic recreation.
• Enrolled in a program with intention to complete within three years.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily recreation and leisure activities.
• Create and maintain engaging resident activity spaces.
• Communicate with residents and their families.
• Document changes in resident's ability to participate.
• Support department efforts to foster resident engagement.
