Job summary

A senior living organization in Langley is seeking an Active Living Aide to assist in planning and implementing meaningful programs for residents. Ideal candidates will have experience working with seniors and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Qualifications

• Previous experience working with seniors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• An energetic, compassionate person who enjoys working with the elderly.
• Valid provincial driver's license to transport residents by van is considered an asset.
• Must provide a complete and current Vulnerable Sector Check or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing programs for residents.
• Maintain communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Participate in planning programs with residents' interest in mind.
• Facilitate and assist residents with scheduled outings.
• Prepare and evaluate daily activities.
