Job summary

Metrolinx, an agency of the Government of Ontario, is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Management within the Fleet Strategy team. You will develop commercial governance, negotiate contracts, monitor claims, and optimize contract value across multi-year transit projects.

You will lead a team, manage vendor relationships, and provide strategic advice to senior leadership while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across a multi-billion-dollar program.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing large, multi-year transit or transformation projects.
• Knowledge of contracting principles and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies for rail fleet assets.
• Negotiate contract documents and advise on key terms.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
• Participate in senior management meetings and reporting.
• Lead teams to deliver on commercial priorities and risk management.
