Vancity, Canada’s leading member‑owned credit union, seeks a senior Quality Engineering Lead to drive program-level QE for the Commercial Banking Transformation and future initiatives. You’ll lead QE across multiple workstreams, shaping the automation strategy and governance while partnering with vendors and internal teams.

You will ensure quality, reliability, security, accessibility, and production readiness are built into delivery, providing clear, traceable evidence and executive updates.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering or quality engineering.
• Hands-on QE with Intellect Design Arena Contextual Banking or comparable CB transformation experience.
• Hands-on testing Temenos T24 core banking platform.
• Experience leading end-to-end Quality Engineering for complex programs with multiple workstreams.
• Strong automation engineering and programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Quality Engineering for the CBX program and other initiatives.
• Define and execute the overall QE strategy, test plan, and governance.
• Provide program-level leadership across testing, API certification, integration testing, and performance.
• Coordinate QE activities across workstream leads, engineers, product teams, and vendors.
• Maintain a complete view of program quality, including readiness and evidence.
• Translate milestones into executable QE plans with traceable evidence.
