Overview

Job Description

As a Senior QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Intelerad's medical imaging software solutions. You will lead comprehensive testing initiatives, mentor junior team members, and collaborate closely with development teams to deliver exceptional products that meet the highest standards for healthcare technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead comprehensive testing initiatives across multiple product lines, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing for medical imaging software applications
  • Design and execute sophisticated test strategies and test plans for complex healthcare software systems, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, HIPAA requirements, and other healthcare industry standards
  • Mentor and guide junior QA team members through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and best practice implementation while fostering a culture of quality excellence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and clinical specialists to identify quality requirements, resolve defects, and ensure optimal user experiences for healthcare professionals
  • Automate testing processes using industry-standard tools and frameworks to improve efficiency, reduce manual testing effort, and ensure consistent quality delivery across multiple release cycles
  • Flexibility to work across time zones for global product releases
  • Ability to handle sensitive healthcare data in compliance with privacy regulations

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 2 years in healthcare software or regulated environments
  • Strong expertise in testing methodologies including manual testing, automated testing (an asset), API testing, and performance testing
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies with experience working in cross-functional development teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to identify root causes of complex software issues
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications demonstrating commitment to professional development in quality assurance
  • Proficiency with QA tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JIRA, TestRail, Postman, or equivalent testing platforms
  • Experience with healthcare software standards including DICOM, HL7, FDA 510(k) processes, or medical device regulations
  • Experience with medical imaging workflows and understanding of radiology or cardiology clinical environments
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for testing distributed healthcare applications
  • Programming experience in languages such as Python, Java, or C# for test automation development
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices for continuous quality integration
  • Previous exposure to regulatory compliance in healthcare technology, including validation protocols and audit processes
Additional Information

The base pay for this position ranges from $78,750 / year CAD to 105,000 / year CAD. Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Intelerad is a total compensation company. Pay is dependent on the position offered. Bonus and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, retirement, PTO, and / or other benefits.
