Our valued healthcare client is seeking a Senior Qlik Sense Developer to develop AODA-compliant Qlik based visualizations via mashups!

Initial 4.5-month contract with strong possibility of extension (two possible renewals, 1 year each).

Hybrid on-site (2 days/week) in North York, ON or Ottawa, ON - fixed on-site day for teamwork every Tuesday. 7.25 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will design, develop, maintain, test and implement Qlik based visualizations, dashboards and reports, including Qlik data models, security models, backend integration with AWS S3/Redshift, embedding in Drupal based web pages thru mashups, following approved architecture design, AODA (WCAG 2.0) compliance, bilingual (Eng/FR) requirements and User Experience provided wireframes and Information Architecture directives.

Responsibilities

• Support Qlik Sense development, data modeling and dashboards/visualizations, reporting techniques, extensions and web integration of Qlik Sense apps to Drupal web pages through Mashups.
• Build applications with large data sets
• Support data transformation, creation of QVD files and set analysis.
• Work with application design, architecture, development and deployment using Qlik Sense. Apply the best practices for visualizations, the design must follow standards/UX guidelines/wireframes and be AODA (WCAG 2.0) compliant and bilingual (Eng/FR).
• Understand and translate technical and business requirements into Qlik architectural designs.
• Implement the proposed technical solution using the Cloud Technology stack (AWS, Redshift, S3, Informatica, Drupal).
• Work with Qlik Management Console, including Management, Security rules and Maintenance of tasks, Extensions, Streams and Apps.
• Handle performance issues with Qlik applications (Performance tuning).
• Utilize Qlik API’s for integration with web pages through true mashups.

Must-Have

• 4+ years in Qlik Sense development, including data modeling, scripting, dashboards, and visualizations.
• 3+ years building Qlik mashups embedded in websites (Drupal, HTML) using APIs.
• Strong experience making front-end BI pages WCAG 2.0 / AODA compliant and bilingual.
• 3+ years of experience working with Qlik extensions like VizLib
• Experience with custom visualizations using Qlik APIs and third-party JS libraries (e.g., d3, Chart.js).
• Familiarity withAWS Redshift, S3, Oracle, and cloud-based Qlik deployments.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AWS QuickSight and its AI features.
• Experience with automating Qlik admin tasks.
• Familiarity with Qlik security model architecture.
