Job summary

Konrad, a Canada-based AI-driven digital consultancy, seeks a Senior QA Engineer to own automated testing across web, mobile, API, and backend systems. You will combine software engineering and AI-assisted practices to deliver reliable software.

You will design and maintain automated tests, drive quality across the SDLC, and mentor junior team members in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA or Quality Engineering experience with hands-on automation.
• Experience developing automated tests using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or Appium.
• Strong API, integration, frontend and backend validation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve automated test solutions for web, mobile, API and backend systems.
• Develop reusable automation code; contribute to framework design and code reviews.
• Create risk-based test strategies, scenarios, and suites for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Apply AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate test creation and failure analysis.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, optimize test execution and diagnostics.
• Test APIs, services, and data flows, including negative scenarios and integration failures.
• Identify, reproduce, and track defects; collaborate with developers to root cause issues.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and share testing best practices.
