10 Percent Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to join their Edmonton-based technology team. The role will balance hands-on testing with leadership in coordinating testing across multiple initiatives. Onsite for the first three months, transitioning to a hybrid work arrangement.

The successful candidate will execute manual and automated tests, validate end-to-end processes, manage defects, and support release readiness while collaborating with stakeholders and developers.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of software QA or software testing experience.
• Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or related discipline.
• Experience using test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Experience with automated testing tools and testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Proven ability to execute detailed testing while coordinating broader testing activities and priorities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated test cases and document results.
• Validate end-to-end processes, workflows, integrations, and system functionality.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution and retesting activities.
• Prepare and maintain test data and ensure test environments are configured and available.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for high-quality releases.
• Review requirements to ensure they are clearly defined and testable.
• Develop and maintain test plans, scenarios, scripts, and documentation.
• Coordinate testing activities and assign work based on priorities and capacity.
• Monitor testing progress and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Support release readiness and participate in QA reviews.
