Virtusa in Canada is seeking a senior Python developer to build enterprise-scale, componentized applications with emphasis on performance and security.

You will work with RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and microservices, leveraging LLMs and RAG architectures while collaborating in Agile teams across the globe.

Competenze

• 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience with Large Language Models, MCP, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes.
• Strong collaboration with global development teams.
• Ability to investigate and debug production issues.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of hands on experience in building an enterprise scale highly componentized application using Python

• Preferably some experience with using Large Language models, Model Context Protocol, & Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture.
• Must have strong Python programming concepts and hands on experience in application development.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and other containerized platforms.
• Ability to effectively interact, collaborate with global development team.
• Investigate possible bug scenarios and production support issues.
• Recent experience with modern Python Development using Large Language models, Model Context Protocol, & Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Experience developing application in Financial Services industry is preferred.
• Write Clean, maintainable and efficient Python code following best practices and PEP standards
• Develop and maintain back end components RESTFUL APIs GraphQL endpoints and Microservices
