Overview

Our valued healthcare client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the implementation of a new Health Information System.

An initial 9-month contract (7 hour work days). % remote. Must work NDT time zone.

The successful candidate will work with the Digital Health division on a project supporting the implementation of the new health information system (HIS). Specifically, we are looking for the Project Manager to work with the Physician Billing Program to document, plan and track the approach(s) to the indentified challenges when onboarding external clinicians to the client HIS. Some of the challenges anticipated include but not limited to : Limitations of the current technical solution for submitting and processing physician billing provincial government department; implementing client policy to external clinicians, ensuring necessary documentation and data quality standard are adhered to, ensuring appropriate legal agreement are in place between client and external clinicians working together in the new HIS.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with project sponsors, project team members, and other internal and external stakeholders (including company executive, provincial government, patient advisory committees, and professional boards and colleges).
  • Provide direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization and various stakeholder groups.
  • Develop, manage, and report on schedules, costs, resources, risks, and project objectives at various levels of the organization, including project governance tables.
  • Lead project teams to meet objectives and stakeholders’ expectations providing direction and clear communication of the vision for project success.
  • Develop and execute risk management and mitigation plans.
  • Balance competing goals of project stakeholders to achieve consensus on project outcomes while maximizing business value of the project.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the province to ensure successful adoption in addition to a successful transition to operations.
Must Have Skills
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager within the healthcare industry
  • Experience managing EPIC or healthcare system implementation projects.
