Senior Project Manager – Stone Fabrication Industry

Location : Port Coquitlam, BC

Compensation : $80,000–$100,000 + Car Allowance + Gas Card + Benefits + Paid Vacation

About the Company :

Our client is a dynamic, well-established leader in the stone fabrication industry , with more than 30 years of experience delivering high-end residential and commercial projects across Western Canada. Renowned for precision craftsmanship, innovation, and service excellence, the company continues to grow by blending traditional skill with modern digital technologies.

They are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Langley team a hands‑on leader who can manage complex stone projects from concept to completion while mentoring staff and ensuring every detail meets the company’s high standards.

The Opportunity :

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the technical, operational, and client‑facing aspects of both custom home and commercial stone projects. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise, project management, and business acumen to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to exacting quality standards.

You’ll work directly with builders, architects, designers, and installation teams while also mentoring junior project managers and estimators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of residential and commercial stone projects — from design and estimation through fabrication, delivery, and installation.
  • Oversee digital templating, CAD drawing interpretation, and production coordination , ensuring precision and efficiency at every stage.
  • Collaborate with architects, general contractors, and builders to resolve design and installation challenges.
  • Maintain close communication with clients and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Train and mentor junior team members in project management best practices, quality control, and client service.
  • Oversee job costing, budget management, and profitability for assigned projects.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality standards, including grain continuity, edge alignment, and finishing excellence.
  • Support business development and customer retention through proactive relationship management and professional engagement.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in the stone, millwork, or construction finishing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of stone fabrication, installation, and site coordination.
  • Proficiency in digital templating, Moraware, and AutoCAD (experience in estimating and shop drawing review an asset).
  • Demonstrated success in project management, vendor coordination, and client communication.
  • Proven leadership ability with experience training and motivating teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills.
  • Background in engineering, design, or operations management considered a strong asset.
