Job summary

Pomerleau Construction is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead Water/Wastewater Civil Operations. You will drive procurement, budgeting, and allocation of resources for large-scale Canadian projects, while fostering collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

With 8+ years of leadership experience, you will navigate regulations, safety, and cost management to maximize profitability while delivering on schedules and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Educational background in civil or construction engineering or a related program.
• 8+ years of experience leading and managing one or more projects.
• Solid knowledge of construction project methodologies, financial management, building codes and related legislation.
• Track record of project leadership and teamwork.
• Ability to build and nurture strong stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and execution of projects.
• Collaborate with site leadership and Health & Safety to identify risks and drive safety improvements.
• Plan, schedule, estimate and forecast project budgets.
• Lead, mentor and monitor the project team and their success.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, contractors and subtrades.
• Oversee bidding and contracts, focusing on cost control and profitability.
• Coordinate plans and specifications with project teams while managing finances.
• Adapt to changing client needs with innovative solutions.
