Qualifikationen

• 8-10+ years’ experience in the Building Science industry, with new construction and building envelope restoration.
• Parking structure condition surveys would be an asset.
• Experience as a prime consultant on projects.
• Registered with APEGA or AAA.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• A self-starter who can work independently or in a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Must meet project deadlines.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• LEED Accreditation, PMP would be an asset.
• Experience with suspended access equipment (work from heights) an asset.
• Knowledge of current energy requirements in building codes and energy modelling.
• Some regional travel may be required.

Under the direction of the Building Science Director, WC you will:

• Lead project teams delivering consulting engineering services to clients

What your experience looks like

• Degree in Engineering / Architecture or a related field
• 8-10+ years’ experience in the Building Science industry with:
  • New construction and building envelope restoration
  • Parking structure condition surveys would be an asset
  • Working as a prime consultant on projects
• Registered with APEGA or AAA
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• A motivated, self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills as well as attention to detail
• Must be able to meet project deadlines
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications
• Organized, works well under pressure, able to deal with situations with tact
• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required
• LEED Accreditation, PMP would be an asset
• Experience with suspended access equipment (work from heights) an asset
• Knowledge in current energy requirements in building codes and energy modelling
• Some regional travel may be required
