Job summary

AtkinsRéalis, based in Edmonton, Canada, seeks a senior professional to lead multidisciplinary airport projects, covering design leadership and project management across landside, airside, and terminal work. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary airport projects as design leader and engineer of record.
• Coordinate scope, schedules, budgets, and contract compliance with clients.
• Provide design leadership across disciplines and QA/QC oversight.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to proposals and fee estimates.

Based in Edmonton, Alberta, this senior opportunity supports complex aviation projects across Canada, combining technical excellence, project leadership, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary environment. Build your engineering career while contributing to critical transportation infrastructure projects that shape the future of aviation. Your role Lead and manage multidisciplinary airport projects as Design Manager, Technical Lead, and/or Engineer of Record. Collaborate directly with clients on project scope, schedules, budgets, and contract compliance. Lead or contribute to functional planning, preliminary design, detailed design, and construction administration for major airport projects. Coordinate and supervise technical inputs across multiple engineering disciplines. Support aviation business strategy, practice development, and collaboration across teams. Lead or contribute to proposal development and preparation of fee estimates. Mentor junior engineers and technicians while ensuring quality control and technical excellence.

About you

Registered or eligible to be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in at least one province in Canada; CAPM/PMP designation is an asset. Proficiency in airport design engineering with experience in landside, airside, or terminal infrastructure projects, as well as design leadership and project management. Proficiency in project management tools, office productivity software, and familiarity with CAD and Civil 3D environments. Aptitude for applying Canadian and international airport regulations and design standards, including TP-312, ICAO, FAA, and NavCanada requirements. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong communication, presentation, and time management skills, and willingness to travel within Canada.
