Job Summary
The Operations manager will plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of roofing projects.
- Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization's operations division.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
- Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives.
- Supervise project managers and superintendents to ensure effective project execution.
- Maintain field operations schedule to meet customer demands and company budget goals.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials. Identify and resolve challenges that may arise during roofing projects, fostering a solutions-oriented approach.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address complex issues with creativity and efficiency.
Required Skills / Abilities
- Proven experience as an operations Manager in the commercial roofing industry.
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs.
