Responsibilities:

Looking for an innovative leader with strong critical thinking, negotiation and communication skills. This individual will work collaboratively with clients, vendors and delivery partners building trust and demonstrating accountability. You will achieve results by leveraging your ability to establish formal and informal networks within and across the organization, enabling you to remove barriers, mitigate risks and deliver quality solutions. In this role you must be able to partner with and work effectively across multiple project workstreams to leverage a diverse team and manage changing priorities.

Provide program management leadership and expertise of a large scale, highly complex, high profile and high-risk initiative that is multijurisdictional and enterprise wide. Ensure accountability for the project and the successful full life cycle delivery including transition from project to operational model and overseeing the related change management activities. Ensure scope of deliverables are cost effective and efficient and in compliance with organization’s methodologies, standards and frameworks. Provide delivery leadership for modern streamlined services in alignment with OPS technology roadmap for enterprise services, including user centric design.

  6. 6. Identify staffing needs and opportunities, work with Senior Manager to inform resource planning and communicating deliverables.

  8. 8. Champion a respectful work environment across a diverse team that includes Cluster staff, clients, vendors, and delivery partners.
  9. 9. Develop and deliver outcomes of a Knowledge Transfer Plan
Leadership: (15%)

  • Assess project progress, priorities, and risks to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure project delivery meets quality standards, schedule, and approved budget, while addressing changing or conflicting requirements.
  • Coordinate project consultation and advisory meetings with external and internal stakeholders, partners, and consultants.
  • Implement industry best practices i.e. Digital Business Modeling, Agile Development, Architecture, Integration, Quality Assurance, Project Management and System Operations.
Communication: (10%)
  • You have proven experience tailoring communications to specific audiences including staff, clients, partners, vendors, and executives.
  • Ability to present and obtain approval for complex solution options.
  • Oversee discussions and stakeholder consultations to validate needs and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Maintain open and transparent lines of communication with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
Critical Thinking:(25%)
  • You have proven skills in assessing, identifying, and recommending technology options that meet client needs and align with organizational strategic goals including the Digital First strategy and Technology Roadmap Investment Planning.
  • Engage appropriate stakeholders in decisions that impact them to gain consensus and buy in to change.
  • Analyze and evaluate key technical, financial, and business impacts of proposed technology solutions and approaches on other areas, ministries, and the IT industry.
