Senior / Project Engineer (Civil & Structural)
Overview
Working Hours: 5.5 days per week (Mon to Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Sat: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Willing to commit to extended hours and shift work during peak periods
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) works for high-tech facilities (e.g., semiconductor fabs, data centers, cleanrooms)
- Assist the CSA Manager or Project Manager in planning, executing, and completing CSA scope on time and within budget
- Review and validate CSA drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Monitor on-site CSA construction activities to ensure compliance with design, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal disciplines (e.g., MEP, process) to resolve technical and site issues
- Conduct site inspections and ensure timely completion of works as per schedule
- Support procurement of CSA-related materials and subcontractor coordination
- Track and report CSA progress, issues, and deliverables to project management
- Ensure adherence to project quality assurance and control processes
- Participate in design coordination and constructability review meetings
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of CSA works
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture
- 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in cleanroom, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or data center projects
- Familiar with local codes and regulations (e.g., BCA, SCDF requirements)
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or similar software is a plus
- Able to work in a fast-paced, construction site environment
- The candidate must be fluent in both Mandarin and English to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Candidates with good experience will be considered for a higher role, and the salary will be commensurate accordingly
