Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Controls Lead to support and enhance project delivery across the Energy & Resources portfolio (BC1182) in Western Canada. You will lead project controls, scheduling, cost management, reporting, and process development with PMs, engineers, and Delivery Center resources.

The role interfaces with BC Hydro, supports budgeting/forecasting, and contributes to portfolio governance. Located in Vancouver area; full-time, regular employment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project controls, cost control, scheduling, project administration, or project management support.
• Experience supporting engineering and infrastructure projects. BC Hydro experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the project controls lead for the BC1182 portfolio, promoting consistency in scheduling, cost control, forecasting, reporting, change management, and administration.
• Support monitoring and reporting of portfolio performance; coordinate monthly budgets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with BC Hydro and Delivery Center resources for schedules, reporting, and portfolio performance.
