Job summary

WSP Canada seeks a Technical Lead to deliver Substation engineering projects that power communities and drive sustainable growth. You will guide technical execution and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Canada to shape impactful solutions.

You will mentor emerging professionals, prepare client-facing deliverables, and uphold health, safety, quality, and environmental standards on every project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Professional designation or eligible for registration.
  • Experience managing complex substation projects and design teams includes budgeting, scheduling and risk management.
  • Strong substation technical expertise and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Experience preparing technical reports, proposals and client-facing deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building with clients and project teams.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Compensation
Grade 8 | Tier 3

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $135,200 – $179,100

MB & ON: $123,300 – $169,800

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $122,100 – $162,200
