Job summary

AVEVA, a global industrial software leader, seeks a Senior Consultant in Calgary to design and implement production accounting models across sites, integrate with data sources, and deliver KPI-driven reporting. The role requires strong data reconciliation skills and experience with AVEVA Production Accounting or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with production accounting, hydrocarbon accounting, material balance or related process-industry discipline.
• Experience configuring or supporting AVEVA Production Accounting or similar software.
• Understanding of measurement data, inventories, material movements, mass/volume balances, and data reconciliation principles.
• Ability to analyze data-quality issues and distinguish measurement, instrumentation, process, and configuration errors.
• Experience defining reports, KPIs, and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure production accounting models at unit, plant, and multi-site levels.
• Apply data reconciliation, mass balance, and volume balance methods to raw measurements and laboratory data.
• Model and track feedstocks, products, components, inventories, transfers, and other material movements across the plant.
• Integrate AVEVA Production Accounting with historians, relational databases, LIMS, and Excel/CSV data sources.
• Configure validation rules and workflows that identify missing or erroneous measurements.
• Develop yield accounting balances to support operational and financial reporting.
• Configure event-based data management and reconciliation processes for timely reporting.
• Build web-based reports, analytics, and KPI views as a single source of production information.
