Job summary

RBC is seeking a Senior Manager – Product Owner for an agentic investigation capability in Canada. You will define the product vision and roadmap for automated investigative capabilities, ensuring governance, risk, and regulatory alignment while collaborating with FIU, AML IT, and Data Management teams.

You will lead cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful investigative outcomes without bypassing human judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, finance or a related field.
• Proven product ownership/PM experience, delivering data, analytics or AI-enabled capabilities.
• Strong understanding of financial-crime investigations and the regulatory environment.
• Experience in governed, regulated environments with control, risk and assurance functions.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate complex needs into a clear roadmap.
• Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities, with storytelling, influence and technical literacy.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision, roadmap and backlog for the agentic capability, sequencing automated capabilities against risk and value.
• Own the business definition of each automated capability, including inputs, outputs and human deferral conditions.
• Ensure automated activity runs under governed configuration with change control and captured in the system of record.
• Ensure automated output meets regulatory defensibility and evidence standards.
• Define acceptance criteria and measures of capability quality and investigator enablement, and decide releases.
• Maintain boundary between automated support and human judgment, feeding outputs into feedback loops.
• Partner with investigators and leadership to ground capability in real investigative needs and drive adoption.
• Coordinate with related product owners to ensure the capability integrates with existing tools.
