A leading technology company seeks a Senior Product Manager in Vancouver to develop their High Performance Computing product portfolio. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of technical product management experience, is passionate about cloud computing, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a competitive salary of $135,700 to $226,500 annually, along with a flexible work schedule and an inclusive culture.
The High Performance Computing (HPC) team is looking for a talented product manager to help develop the HPC portfolio of products within AWS, which includes products such as AWS Batch and AWS ParallelCluster, as well as network interfaces like Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA). You will work closely with teams in EC2 and with new technology from Annapurna Labs. As a Senior Product Manager Technical – External Services, you will own product development from strategy/product vision through feature definition, prioritization, positioning, naming, and GTM/adoption.
We are looking for an experienced product manager who is passionate about solving customer problems and has demonstrated success working backwards from ambiguous customer needs, translating them into disruptive, successful products that delight customers. You will have the curiosity to dig into complex business problems, challenge the status‑quo, and bias toward using data to simplify the customer experience.
Working closely with and across agile teams, you will see the impact of your work on our customers. This is a high‑visibility and high‑impact role that interacts with all levels of AWS leadership. Our ideal candidate is excited about the incredible opportunity cloud computing represents, is deeply passionate about delivering the highest quality services, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment that requires strong technical and business judgment and solid communication skills.
Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. Senior members enjoy one‑on‑one mentoring and thorough, but kind, code reviews. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better‑rounded engineer and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.
We also value work‑life balance. Striking a healthy balance between your personal and professional life is crucial to your happiness and success here, which is why we aren’t focused on how many hours you spend at work or online. Instead, we’re happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well‑balanced life—both in and outside of work.
At AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have ten employee‑led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally. We provide innovative benefit offerings and host annual and ongoing learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender‑diversity) conferences. Amazon’s culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 14 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.
