Overview

The High Performance Computing (HPC) team is looking for a talented product manager to help develop the HPC portfolio of products within AWS, which includes products such as AWS Batch and AWS ParallelCluster, as well as network interfaces like Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA). You will work closely with teams in EC2 and with new technology from Annapurna Labs. As a Senior Product Manager Technical – External Services, you will own product development from strategy/product vision through feature definition, prioritization, positioning, naming, and GTM/adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
• 3+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or related fields.
• Experience taking a product from conception and definition through engineering design and market launch.
• Experience delivering large‑scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live‑site operations.
• Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies.

Compensation

The base salary for this position ranges from $135,700/year up to $226,500/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
