Job summary

ThoughtStorm is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product planning and execution across the full lifecycle, from vision through delivery and launch in Toronto.

You will define a clear product strategy, gather and translate customer and business requirements into detailed MRDs and PRDs, collaborate with engineering, and drive successful launches while balancing value and user needs.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead product planning and execution across the full product lifecycle, from product vision and requirements through delivery and launch.

Key Requirements:

• Product Lifecycle Management: Lead product planning and execution, including product vision, strategy, prioritization, delivery, and launch activities.
• Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with organizational strategy, business goals, and customer needs.
• Requirements Management: Gather, analyze, prioritize, and translate customer and business requirements into detailed product requirements and actionable deliverables.
• Product Roadmap & Prioritization: Scope and prioritize initiatives based on business impact, customer value, product goals, and available resources.
• Customer Experience: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, identify product gaps, generate new ideas, and drive improvements to customer experience.
• Technical & Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering/technical teams to translate product strategy into requirements, prototypes, and deliverable solutions while supporting timely delivery.
• Product Documentation: Hands-on experience developing MRDs (Market Requirements Documents) and PRDs (Product Requirements Documents) with prioritized features and supporting justification.
• Stakeholder & Partner Management: Build buy-in for product vision across internal stakeholders, executives, external partners, and third parties; experience assessing partnership and licensing opportunities is valuable.
• Product Launch & Market Activities: Lead product launches and support promotional, positioning, pricing, beta, and pilot initiatives while ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy.
• Leadership & Delivery: Strong project management, communication, documentation, decision-making, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain effective client/stakeholder relationships. Public sector experience is an asset.
