Join our Patient Care team as a Senior Product Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive growth and innovation across our portfolio. In this role, you will lead product strategy, uncover customer insights, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions that improve patient outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to combine strategic vision, marketing expertise, and leadership to advance our mission.

This position is located in Canada. The preferred candidate will be located near the Waterdown, Canada Stryker location and work a hybrid (in office/work from home) schedule.


What you will do:

  • Strategic Planning & Marketing Leadership:Lead the creation and execution of core strategic documents — including the strategic plan, annual marketing plan (AMP), and product launch playbooks —ensuring cross-functional alignment with Stryker’s business priorities and commercial objectives.
  • Customer Insight & Market Opportunity Identification:Uncover customer needs through continuous market immersion, Voice of Customer (VOC) programs, and field collaboration, translating insights into actionable strategies that drive innovation and differentiation.
  • Competitive Intelligence & Market Vigilance:Own the process of collecting, analyzing, and disseminating competitive intelligence in full compliance with Stryker’s ethical standards, delivering timely, actionable insights that guide field strategy, strategic planning, and market positioning.
  • Segmentation & Targeting Excellence:Develop and execute advanced segmentation and targeting strategies to enhance commercial efficiency, optimize portfolio focus, and enable data-driven prioritization across customer and product segments.
  • Pricing & Value Optimization:Develop and manage pricing strategies that reinforce brand positioning, maximize profitability, and reflect local market conditions — clearly articulating Stryker’s differentiated value to customers and partners.
  • Resource Planning & Forecasting:Accurately forecast resource, budget, and demand requirements to ensure readiness for launches, marketing programs, and portfolio initiatives within defined financial and operational parameters.
  • Performance Measurement & Accountability:Define and track key metrics, success criteria, and milestones to measure business performance and marketing effectiveness, proactively adjusting plans to achieve or exceed objectives.
  • Results Ownership & Executional Excellence:Hold self and cross-functional partners accountable for delivering high-quality results with urgency, passion, and precision — ensuring flawless execution of marketing initiatives that drive measurable business impact.
  • Lead Without Authority:Demonstrate leadership through influence — mentoring peers, building strong collaboration, and inspiring a culture of growth, innovation, and collective achievement.
  • Collaboration & External Influence:Build and nurture strong cross-functional partnershipsacross all areas of the business to align on shared goals, while fostering relationships with key opinion leaders, professional organizations, and healthcare institutions to strengthen Stryker’s leadership in Patient Care.

What you will need:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required —Health Science, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of healthcare industry experience, preferably within Capital Equipment or Acute Care, with a demonstrated record of driving growth and commercial success.
  • Ability to commuteto Stryker’s Waterdown, Ontario office weeklyand as business needs require.

Preferred:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and verbal).
  • 3+ years of experience in medical device marketing and/or sales.
  • MBA or advanced business degree

97,100.00 - 129,450.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
