Job summary

Velora is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own cross-product and platform work spanning Aplos, Raisely, Keela, grant management, Velora Home, and Mission Assistant. This senior IC role requires clarity in ambiguity, end-to-end ownership, and strong collaboration with Engineering, Data, and GTM teams.

You’ll leverage AI to deliver step-change for customers, mentor junior PMs, and help grow a unified platform across Velora’s products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management in SaaS, ideally B2B.
• Experience launching several significant product initiatives.
• Hands-on AI product experience with real examples.
• Understanding of modern AI, generative AI, automation, and agentic workflows.
• Comfort using AI daily in product work and building lightweight prototypes.
• Partner closely with engineers and data scientists; reason through trade-offs.
• Senior individual contributor mindset; own outcomes in ambiguity.
• Curiosity about customers and the broader business; use metrics to prioritize.
• Strong influence across Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM teams.
• Clear written communication linking product decisions to business outcomes.
• Nonprofit tech, fundraising, fund accounting, CRM, or grants experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Mission Assistant and cross-product initiatives end to end.
• Shape Mission Assistant roadmap across multiple products.
• Lead customer research into nonprofit workflows and translate into bets.
• Decide where AI adds real value and where simpler work is better.
• Define success metrics and track impact post-launch.
• Build AI-enabled prototypes and refine requirements with engineering.
• Partner with Engineering and Data on AI quality, cost, and trust.
• Work in small pods with weekly syncs and Friday demos.
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to leadership.
• Enable CS, Sales, Marketing; mentor other PMs.
