A creative-tech company is seeking an experienced engineer to join its fully remote team, focusing on building user-facing products that enhance creative decision-making. The ideal candidate has over 5 years in product development, exceptional skills in React and TypeScript, and thrives in fast-paced settings. Motion offers competitive compensation, equity, and a major impact on early-stage product development. Join a team passionate about advancing the creative advertising space.
Motion is creating the command center for creative strategists: an AI-driven analytics and intelligence platform that bridges the gap between performance marketers and creative teams, helping them uncover what's working, what's not, and ultimately ship more winning ads across platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta, and TikTok.
Today, Motion is trusted by some of the world’s top e-commerce and direct-to-consumer brands and agencies (including Vuori, True Classic, The Farmer’s Dog, and HexClad) and has analyzed over $14 billion in media spend. When leading brands want to understand their creative performance, they turn to us.
We’re growing fast (3x year-over-year), our product is sticky, and with a recent $30M Series B raise, we’re just getting started. We’re building the future of creative intelligence and are looking for talented people to help us get there! 🚀
At Motion, the engineering team builds market leading software to accelerate the time to and quality of decisions made by creative strategists in paid advertising. Increasingly that means augmenting our users’ abilities with AI agents and intelligence drawing on the many many data sources we have available.
We are looking for impatient, self-sufficient, pragmatic, and fun engineers who love building user facing products. You are someone who loves to build and bring new things to life, and own features from ideation to launch.
Motion is a fully remote company but we work closely as a team. We are looking for someone with significant overlap with EST (being located in Toronto, Montreal, or Porto-Portugal is a plus as we have optional co-working days!).

Motion thrived in 2023, and 2024 was a defining year here. We started 2025 with fresh funding and exceptional signals from our clients. On top of this, our founding team has built successful companies before. This role offers an incredible opportunity to get in on the ground floor to help us build a category defining company in the “creative-tech” space.
